Mother’s day is special. However, growing up, I didn’t have the chance to celebrate my mom from the time I was five to about the time I was 24 and had begun my own family. When I was five, my father, older sister, and I were petitioned by my aunt to come to the States, leaving behind my mother and two younger siblings in the Philippines.
For almost 20 years, I skipped celebrating Mother’s Day and often times dreaded it because I didn’t have my mother around. She was in fact on the other side of the world — in a different timezone.
Now that I am a mother, I can understand a little bit of how my mom must have felt when Mother’s day rolled around and she didn’t have half of her family present to celebrate her.
But one of my passions is helping other moms in their motherhood journey.
I want them to know that they are not alone.
I want them to feel appreciated.
I want them to have a resource that they can use to help them get out of the rut that they have been in and…
I want them to know that they can turn their mundane motherhood journey into one that is memorable.
So, with that said, I decided to make a Mom’s Growth Journey Challenge.
Beginning tomorrow, May 1st, my Private Facebook Group, Moms Making Today Matter will begin a 10-day question + answer challenge.
If you have not joined our group yet, you can find it here. I would love for you to join me as other moms share their wealth of wisdom, experiences, and encouraging words. WE BEGIN TOMORROW! So click this link and join our group today.
Here is an overview of the 10-day challenge we will be doing:

You can find the FREE daily printables to go along with this challenge here.
I pray and hope this could be an encouragement and help to you or a mom that you know. Talk to you later, friends.

This is so great! Will you be doing it in the group again this year?

Hey Friend! I was thinking about it. I might tweak it a bit. Thinking about and working on possibly another thing as well.
